Cozy Cabin is located in the San Bernardino National Forest with stunning forest and lake views. This California destination is about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, located over 7,000 feet above San Bernardino. Summers are comfortable and warm, and winters often have snow. This A-frame vacation house has a downstairs bedroom, a pullout couch, and a loft with two double beds. A total of 6-8 guests could be comfortable. It is a perfect destination for a couples weekend or small family vacation. Cozy Cabin offers the perfect balance of modern amenities, privacy, and beautiful views. There is a wood fireplace, and vaulted wood-beamed ceilings. From this perfect location, you can walk to the lake, in the forest or drive to the ski lifts for a day on the slopes. The living room is sure to be a favorite room in the house, with vaulted ceilings, comfortable couch, two great recliners, cozy throws, and a wood-burning fireplace. A TV including DVD player,  VCR is available in the living room, master bedroom and the loft.  The living area has stunning views of the forest and lake.  Blue scrub jays will visit on the huge balcony.  Unsalted raw peanutes on the balcony ledge will assure a visit from birds and squirrels to your view.  At night, the couch pulls out into a comfortable queen-size bed.

The cabin is stocked with games and fun stuff to do.  Please place an entry in our guest log book to let others know what you did!
 

This fully-stocked kitchen – a perfect place to prepare a meal. With a refrigerator, oven and range, full set of pots and pans, cooking utensils, and toaster, you’ll find everything you need to prepare your favorite comfort foods. There’s a microwave and coffee pot to provide the best to keep you warm.

An electric barbeque is available for your outdoor use. The national forest does not allow any open flames (as you can well understand).

There is a small kitchen table off of the kitchen with the fireplace close by.  The table can nicely seat 4 persons.

The downstairs bedroom provides a private, bathroom-close room with views of the forest.  You will have your own TV with full cable access to view at night.

Cozy Cabin features a large balcony that wraps around the front of the house.  A storage area is available under the house for snow-type stuff.

There is parking close to the cabin during the non-snow times.  There is a stairway to reach the main door of the cabin.  When there is snow, parking is limited at the base of the hill or on the main street 1/4 mile away.

Winter at the cabin is beautiful, but only for the adventurous.  Access because of snow may be limited to parking at the base of the hill or on the street.  We can talk about the potential challenges, but once there, it is a dream.
